Lost Not Found on Venice Beach

The Beauty of the Curve to me is like the ribbon seen in the continuum symbol. It is ongoing connecting one part of an image to another, together they compose the flow of a work of art. Not all of my paintings display this Beauty of the Curve, yet, as I become more aware of the use of the curve in structure my natural tendency will be to gravitate more to this expression.

Celestial Freedom

This painting is one of my first works in the early 1990’s using the Beauty of the Curve. It opened a whole new understanding of function and form in a design sense. The connection between the main image to the background and its surrounding elements become one with the weaving of the curve.
